Jolin Neo Qi En

President

The President is the official spokesperson for OIKOS, and is responsible for the day-to-day management of the society. Apart from general management, she represents all School of Economics students in the Student Association Council and weighs in on all SMUSA and student related matters.

Chia Han Bing (Isaac)

Vice President

The role of the Vice-President is to support the President in the management of the society and stand in for him in his absence. He oversees the operational aspect of the committee and acts as a liaison with external parties when necessary.

Chua Yi Lin

Hon0rary General Secretary

The Honorary General Secretary acts as an assistant to the various portfolios, and is mainly in charge of the administrative matters. Her duty also includes manning of Economics Society Account which she answers enquiries and requests as well as sends out official emails.

Charlotte Lee Enqi

Honorary Finance Secretary

The Finance Secretary represents the society at the bi-annual budget endorsement meeting with SMUSA and other constituent bodies where they present their proposed budget for the term. She processes all financial claims and works closely with the Office of Finance and the School of Economics office to ensure that all financial matters are justified and properly accounted for. 

Gabriel Eng Yi Wei

Academics & Career Director

The Career Director oversees the department’s efforts to support students’ career development. He takes charge of collaboration with external organisations to coordinate workshops, mentoring opportunities, and networking events. Additionally, he introduces new initiatives, enhances existing programmes, and fosters strong relationships with stakeholders through a comprehensive database to strengthen partnerships.

Joo Yeonwoo

Academics & Career Director

The Academics Director plays a key role in managing academic resources within OIKOS, ensuring that the student body’s academic information is current and accessible. She lobbies for students in matters such as bidding, strengthens alumni relations, and serves as a liaison between the faculty and SOE alumni. Additionally, she oversees the planning and execution of signature academic events, such as BOSS Bidding, Mapping Your Major (MYM), and the Mentoring Programme.

Sheryl Sim Jia Xuan

Corporate Communications Director

The Corporate Communications Director of the society plays the vital role of liaising and establishing good relations with external organisations or individuals. These partnerships usually manifest in the form of product or cash sponsorships to support and value-add to the events initiated by the society.

Chantille Tam Jia En

Events Director

The Events Director is the overall in charge of all OIKOS Events and is responsible for the recruitment and management of all events and organising committees. She also acts as an advisor to the various committees and ensures smooth execution of all OIKOS Events.

Goh Yun Min

Marketing Director

The Marketing Director is responsible for all publications of OIKOS. She designs both online and offline marketing collaterals and maintains OIKOS’ social media platforms. She is also in-charge of event decoration and photography, as well as the coordination of the OIKOS website and noticeboard.

Ng Wei Lun

Sports, Assets  & Welfare Director

The Sports & Welfare Director is mainly responsible for Inter-Faculty Games Recruitment and students’ welfare in general. In addition to the management of Inter-Faculty Games, he is in-charge of taking good care of students’ welfare needs; planning and implementing various welfare initiatives in different aspects.
